“You haven't yet offered something that's actually worth paying for.”
Julian does office hours with founders in the Solo Founders Program every week. For this episode, we opened them to the public. Five solo founders applied and came on live, each with the hardest problem they're facing right now.
First up was Utkarsh Dalal. He built GameNative, an open source app for playing your PC game library on your phone. It has 1.25 million users, all organic, and a few hundred of them pay $5 to $10 a month.
Most founders would kill for that position. The problem Utkarsh brought: how do you get more of those 1.25 million people to pay, without breaking the free and open source deal that got you here? Julian's answer flips where Utkarsh was looking.
And that's just the first conversation of the session.

Solo Launches: Railcode and Moe
Yakko Majuri (SFP S26) opened Railcode up to everyone, today, with a free tier. It fixes a problem you might recognize: everyone at your company can build internal tools with Claude Code now, but before a tool can touch real company data it needs a security review for logins, database access, and API keys. That takes a week or more, so most people give up and their tools die on their laptops. With Railcode, the company sets up one secure space where all of that is pre-approved, and tools go live in seconds. We covered the full story when Yakko came on the podcast.
Erik Schützler (SFP F26) just launched Moe, the stock market for your stuff: scan anything you own, see what it's really worth across every marketplace, sell it everywhere at once. It's on the App Store, use invite code BETA. Erik joins SFP this fall, so it’s awesome to see him shipping before he even gets here.
Solo, together.
