Quick note before this one: raising money or having revenue does not rule you out of the Solo Founders Program. A third of our founders raised before joining, and most who could have revenue already do, so apply for the September cohort either way.

“We don't compete with each other, because we are competing against something way bigger and way more scary, which is the market.”

Aldo Del Valle (Stealth), Chai Choudhary (Workers.io), Namanyay Goel (Giga), and Dhravya Shah (Supermemory) were four of the six founders in the first Solo Founders Program cohort. A year later, we got them back in one room.

On his first day, Aldo sat in group office hours, listened to the others talk, and thought, “these guys are top talent, and I'm just an imposter here.”

Today, Chai and Dhravya live together. Aldo calls Dhravya about memory and context, Chai for gnarly technical problems, and Namanyay “just to joke around.” Chai sums up the group as “having five other co-founders with you.”

This episode is the story of what happened in between.
